43 kg of Illegally Caught Crayfish Seized and Released into the Reservoir – EPMIB

On March 25, at approximately 00:10, the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body received a report from the Vayots Dzor Provincial Patrol Service of the RA Police regarding illegally caught live crayfish found in the trunk of an “OPEL” vehicle.

Within the framework of the administrative proceedings initiated by the Inspection Body, it was established that G.H., a resident of Janfida village in Armavir Province, had illegally caught 43 kg of crayfish from the Herher Reservoir.

The entire illegally caught batch of live crayfish was seized and released back into the Herher Reservoir.

The offender will be held administratively liable.
