EPMIB Summarizes the First Quarter of the Year: New Priorities and Strengthened Oversight

An extended meeting was held under the leadership of Hovhannes Martirosyan, Head of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, with the participation of the management team and heads of structural and territorial divisions.

The progress and timelines of planned and unplanned inspections under the Inspection Body’s annual programs were analyzed, along with the results of observations, suspensions, and initiated administrative proceedings.

The performance of the first quarter of 2026 was discussed. Challenges identified during the oversight process and effective mechanisms for addressing them were reviewed. Priorities for the second quarter were outlined, including digital modernization through innovative solutions.

Hovhannes Martirosyan issued instructions on strengthening oversight mechanisms, implementing an automated digital system, and ensuring compliance with the rules of conduct for public officials.
