Education Among the Top Priorities

Today, the Head of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body, Mr. Hovhannes Martirosyan, delivered a lecture at the A. Iskoyan Center for Environmental Law of Yerevan State University.

The lecture was attended by Master’s and third-year Bachelor’s students of the Faculty of Law of YSU, within the framework of the Environmental Law course.

Mr. Martirosyan presented the main directions and forms of environmental oversight, discussed in detail the current state of the sector, and answered students’ questions.

Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law, Olympia Geghamyan, expressed gratitude for the nearly four years of cooperation, emphasizing the importance of direct interaction with authorized bodies in the field, which helps students not only acquire theoretical knowledge but also apply it effectively in practice.

The Head of the Inspection Body highly valued cooperation with educational institutions, particularly as guarantors of training future professionals.
