Dangers and Consequences of Burning Waste and Vegetation The Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body reminds: Dear citizens, do not pollute the air by burning waste or vegetation. Instead, use plant residues to fertilize the soil, improving its quality and fertility.Avoid fines ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 AMD, as stipulated by law.

The Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body (EPMIB) intends to increase fines for dust emissions resulting from construction through legislative amendments. In 2024 alone, 103 violations of environmental standards during construction were recorded in Yerevan, with total fines reaching AMD 9.5 million. Currently, more than 300 multi-apartment buildings are under construction in Yerevan.
